There is not a better time to explore somewhere new than when the sun is shining.
Today was my first visit to this small town in Denbighshire, North Wales and it definitely won’t be my last.
Walking by the canal, looking over at the river and browsing some independent shops all helped to make this sunny day even better.
I enjoyed a light lunch at The Corn Mill, this pub had unique features and served delicious food! There was an option to sit on a balcony overlooking the river, unfortunately the wind was a bit too cold today but I can’t wait to sit out there next time.
After lunch we had another walk through the town, we spent some time watching the old fashioned steam trains at the station and then made our way for an ice cream.
The ice cream shop had so many different flavours, it was hard to decide! In the end, I opted for Oreo and Honeycombe – amazing.
If you’re ever wondering where to go next time the sun is out, take a trip to Llangollen ☺
