Coffee Republic, Blackpool

On the hunt for a coffee hit whilst in Blackpool, my sister and I stumbled across Coffee Republic.

We were enticed into Coffee Republic by the menu that was propped outside advertising iced coffees, smoothies and frappes.

Situated opposite Blackpool North station, next to Sainsbury’s this cafe seemed out of place. It was like something you would see in Manchester city centre or central London.

The interior was modernly rustic, with gloss black, wood and brick, it was a mixture of old and new.

The wall was filled with clocks, all different shapes and sizes. These, along with the hanging orange lights enhanced the cool vibe that Coffee Republic gave off.

We both ordered an iced caramel latte, so refreshing after walking around Blackpool on a busy day during the summer holidays.

The ratio of coffee to caramel was perfect, the coffee was strong enough not to be overpowered by the sweetness of the caramel syrup. Mixed together with the milk, it was almost creamy, so delicious!
